Entering a New Era for Events at Colonial Gardens…

We are thrilled to launch our new Enchanted Hayride starting September 19th, 2026 and running daily through November 2nd. For over 40 years, our daytime hayrides have been a fall tradition for Phoenixville families. We are excited to continue that legacy with our newly upgraded Enchanted Hayride.

What’s New?

We have embraced the magic of the spooky season and reconceived our daytime hayride ride as a journey through a fantasy-filled forest. Our antique tractors pull our Amish-made wagons through an enchanted wood, full of magical creatures, fantasy scenes, and resurrected kingdoms. Exciting additions include a dragon’s nest, an expanded shipwreck cove, a neighborhood of ornate fairy houses, and as our centerpiece, Oakheart, our 20-foot tree giant. For the fall, all of these fantastical scenes and more can only be seen on our hayride.

This experience was a true team effort, bringing together our 30 staff members to create something special and memorable for our guests. The vast majority of our scenery was hand-crafted by our in-house staff, using their unique talents to breathe life into our new events.

In addition to our hayride, you’ll see some fresh updates to our Pumpkinland play-space, leaning into an imaginative play environment with a new spaceship and refinished props. Finally, you’ll find updates to our Children’s Maze, theming them to different biomes. You’ll still find dozens of tons of locally grown pumpkins, mums, and fall perennials as well as awesome Halloween decor. We will also still be running our Haunted Nights at Colonial Gardens on evenings on the weekends and select nights of Children’s Night Hayrides for a milder scare.

What will never change? Our commitment to creating a space where you can make memories with your family and friends in every season. We’re excited that many of our new additions will be visible and themed to the holidays for Christmas at Colonial as well.

We want to extend a special thanks to every member of our Colonial Gardens team who made this new era possible. We also want to thank our loyal customers and community, who have sustained us for the last 59 years. This wouldn’t be something worth pursuing without each and every one of you.
