Join us for our annual spring seminars and workshops! It’s a great way to kick off spring. Advanced registration is required as spaces are limited.

Fairy Garden Workshop: $50
April 5th, 10am • April 6th, 10pm
So popular, we’ve expanded to two sessions this year! Create your own world of magic at Colonial Gardens with our Fairy Garden Workshop. In this workshop, we’ll walk you through planting up a dish garden with compatible plants, whimsical accessories, and a fairy resident. This workshop is appropriate for adults and children accompanied by adults.
Limit of two people per fairy garden.

Floral Design Workshop: $60
April 6th, 12pm
Bring your flower dreams to life in this workshop led by LeeAnn, our lead florist. With over 16 years experience in floral design, LeeAnn will be teaching you how to construct an arrangement, focused on best practices and creating beauty with balance.

Landscaping

Landscaping for Long-Term Value: FREE
April 5th: 2pm
Did you know that improving your landscaping can increase the value of your home by up to 20%? Join us at Colonial Gardens for an enlightening seminar hosted by Eric Schmidt, our local landscaping expert with over 40 years of experience. In this informative session, Eric will share his best tips for planning a landscape that lasts and adds value over the long-term. Attendees will receive a $10 coupon that can be used towards plants and gardening materials.

Native plants

Native Plants for Small Gardens: FREE
April 6th, 2pm
Join conservation educator Casey Schmidt for an engaging seminar on gardening with native plants in small spaces. Native plants are an incredible way to provide habitat for bees, butterflies, and birds, but many selections can grow too large for small spaces. In this seminar, we will discuss how to pick the right plants for your space to maximize beauty and value to wildlife. Attendees will receive a $10 off coupon to shop any of our 100 species of native plants.
